Cutting it Up at Tillicum
A student creates a wooden car in Applied Engineering, a project-oriented Career and Technical Education class that prepares students to collaboratively solve problems with an engineering and creative design mindset.
Tillicum 6th Grade Camp
Each year, Tillicum 6th grade students go on an excursion to Camp Sealth for an environmental education program. This tradition creates memories that last a lifetime!

I have worked at Tillicum Middle School for 20 years and can honestly say I appreciate every single staff member here. Having subbed at other schools, I believe here at Tillicum, we have a unique, cohesive and caring staff. Even more so, as a parent, both my kids are thriving — all because of our amazing staff. Tillicum is the best middle school ever and the staff is what makes us the best!

We are happy to be in Bellevue because of the innovative educational opportunities that make Bellevue School District unique — including the integration of Computer Science into our science classes. My daughter's favorite part of 8th grade science was the opportunity to learn how to use computer modeling to explore magnetism, including understanding conditional variables. The Bellevue Schools Foundation has been the key funding partner allowing Bellevue to offer relevant learning opportunities like these to every one of our students, ensuring they have the educational foundations to succeed in whatever they do.”

I really enjoyed performing in the musical Aladdin at Tillicum. Everyone was so nice and friendly and I made so many new friends. I felt included and accepted.
